SAHWR is a small charity, with a group of highly skilled and passionate Staff, Management, Trustees and Volunteers.

Current Employment Opportunities:

  • Children's Support Worker - Full Time

    We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to work within our team the successful applicant will be based within SAHWR team providing accommodation, advice and support services to families that are affected by domestic abuse across the southwest of Hertfordshire. The successful applicants will need a minimum of a NVQ 3 Child Learning and Development or equivalent, or relevant experience of working with children and young people.

Volunteering at SAHWR:

As a registered charity, SAHWR depend on a small group of volunteers to help us carry out a range of day-to-day tasks and help support survivors of domestic abuse. We require volunteers to help with the following:

  • Fundraising.

  • Gardening.

  • Administration.
