I want to thank you for the support you've been providing the client and child. They have both spoken highly of the support they have received. Client even said she was excited about the activities she does.

The response to domestic abuse is a complex one, and as such we have established strong working partnerships with a number of statutory and non-statutory agencies, including local authorities, community-based agencies, children’s services, housing, health (including mental health), drug and alcohol services, other specialist domestic abuse agencies, the police and the criminal justice system.

SAHWR work with the national domestic abuse Referral Telephone Number and refuge network to provide services for survivors and their families.

Our staff attend MARAC (Multi Agency Risk Assessment Conferences), where individuals are rated as High-risk survivors of domestic abuse.

We work collaboratively with the following organisations in Hertfordshire:

  • Hertfordshire County Council.

  • St Albans City and District Council.

  • Dacorum Borough Council.
