SAHWR opens new property in the name of Chairperson, Maralyn.
Last week, we opened our new SAHWR owned property in Hertfordshire, which will house 4 families who need safety. This makes a significant step in the expansion of housing options available to the people we support.
A new property, named after chairperson, Maralyn Pollard.
We prioritise safe, high-quality accommodation to support those who need it most. By being able to purchase the property, it offers long-term, sustainable property options.
The new property is named after our Chairperson, Maralyn Pollard, who has been a part of SAHWR for nearly 40 years. Maralyn has always prioritised having properties that are like homes, insisting on all the home comforts to ensure families aren’t compromising on quality when finding safety.
Maralyn opened the property last week, surrounded by those who have supported her volunteering over the years. Speaking on the day, Maralyn said, ‘Thank you so much for this gesture, I only do it to help people and will continue doing all I can. I love this house and hope it brings happiness to others too.’
Thank you Maralyn, for bringing this all together and for all you do for SAHWR.
