Safe Accommodation (Refuge)
“Thank you for everything you have done for me and my family. You have helped me enormously, to build my confidence and given me a home and space to think about my future. I am very grateful for this and all the opportunities you have given us.”
Our accommodation is based in several locations across Hertfordshire and consists of residential housing and dispersed flats. In order to keep our residents safe, we keep the address of our refuges confidential. We accommodate male, transgender and non-binary clients in our self-contained accommodation.
The properties vary in size and amenities, but you will be guaranteed access to a private locked room, often with an en-suite bathroom. Our team works hard to ensure the property is kept to a high standard with all the equipment needed to look after yourself. Our houses offer generous gardens for the children to play.
Most of our refuges have a children’s playroom where we offer structured play sessions with our specialist Children’s Support Team, you will find more details on the work our Children and Families team do here.
Our Safe Accommodation (also known as refuge) is temporary, safe housing for individuals and families escaping from Domestic abuse.
We have a range of accommodation to support those who require housing to feel safe from abuse.
